Who are we?

We are a branch of the Department for Transport's Mobility and Inclusion Unit (MIU)

What do we do?

Through the mobility centre - MAVIS (Mobility Advice and Information Service), we provide an information and assessment service to older and disabled motorists. We also develop and manage a research programme to fill knowledge gaps in the area of motoring for older and disabled people. We provide an education service for professionals working within and relating to the field of mobility and disability.
