Discriminative Richmond Lib-Dem Council Social Services Care
Remit "Shove em in homes"
The
Liberal Democrat council have 'rubber stamped' these and many other illegal changes,
despite demonstrations, submissions from the disabled, Media and objections of
other parties attending. Many disabled users who, with little to lose are quite
prepared for demonstrative action against the barbaric Liberal Democrat Council.
The Conservatives questioned the vague wordings, while the Labour councillor stated
that "something was definitely rotten..." Our investigations show something is
certainly 'ROTTEN', in the modern 'Robing Hoods' Lib-Dem local government leadership
(lack of), where they steal from the disadvantaged to give to the rich. Being
why 'Rich' Richmond is teetering on bankruptcy - The traumatised and victimised
disabled can't give any more. They have nothing left to rob, except what is left
of their dignity!
Conclusion.
These inhuman proposals to change social care are indicative
of something thrown together in financial panic by those without care or respect
for the disabled. Lacking consultation with users, external specialist input and
has no consideration - other than financial, towards those most at risk. Users
state they were NOT consulted in the correct manner. There are no transparently
structured policies for short and long term care of the disabled, at least not
in keeping with the law. Most parts are deliberately vague, open to misinterpretation
or misuse by cash crises led, understaffed, social services departments, employing
cheap low qualified officials.
By the Liberal Democrats own admission,
it is financially incapable of discharging present social care obligations, while
actions of Social Services strongly suggest lack of managerial expertise or direction.
Posing an interesting question of requesting government intervention to administer
social care in the Lib-Dem wrecked Richmond borough.
In wisdom, the Liberal Democrat Council
should have adjourned this decision pending proper consultation, clarification
of the vague sections and resulting amendments. Instead, they 'steam rollered'
the illegal proposals, then inferred the disabled where nothing but "liars, cheats
and frauds." Stating to the media "They (the disabled), are a load of pretenders".
IT IS NOW DEMANDED THE COUNCIL REVOKE THE ILLEGALLY OBTAINED CARE CHANGE PROPOSAL AND THE SACKING FROM PUBLIC OFFICE OF LIBERAL DEMOCRAT Cllr ANTHONY BARNETT.

By law, every council has
a legal duty to fill their social care obligations. Though with a few councils,
this is to the bear minimum, the majority of more responsible councils, far exceed
their minimum care obligations. However, these proposed changes to Richmond Liberal
Democrat councils already abysmal care policy, plunges disabled users far below
minimum levels, into the realm of discriminative abuse under Human, Disability
and other legal rights.
